From July 26, 2009, that's "Barack The Magnificent." It's a play on Johnny Carson's character on The Tonight Show. The comic's unique also because it features an actual journalist: Lynne Sweet of the Chicago Tribune. Why did I pick Detroit Lions? Because they didn't have a prayer and that was part of the joke.
Sometimes I like a comic for one little touch. For me, the comic above is good because of Lynne Sweet's cameo. I'm not joking. She pops out of the panel for me. I wish I'd worked her in as a regular. I'll probably be stuck doing Snarly Rice this weekend althought I'm thinking of really going controversial with the comic by hitting hard on the Drone War. Is so, don't expect humor for two or three new comics. And that's fine, sometimes editorial cartoons aren't humorous.
